About village Horní Branná

Horni Branna is agricultural village in the valley of brook Sovinka near the Jilemnice. First mentioned in 14th century. The Renaissance chateau from 16th century was built on the place of former castle. You can see the rests of ornamental and figural sgraffities on the wall. The other important building is Gothic church of St. Mikulas with Renaissance tower. In the village there is Neo-Romance crypt of Harrach´s counts from the end of 19th century.
